Children from Haig School build a food tower from the food donations they collected during the week of Oct. 7 to 11 as part of the Farm Credit Canada’s Drive Away Hunger program. The food was collected by the FCC Tractor on Tuesday and taken to the Weyburn Food Bank. As of Thursday, the students at Haig had already collected over 20 bags of donations and more schools in Weyburn were also participating.
