Review photo 3760 — Greg Nikkel

Work crews clean up piles of debris as the demolition of the college building and the old Collegiate building continue on Wednesday. This part of the Weyburn Comprehensive School, the original Collegiate high school built in 1913, is scheduled to be completedly demolished within six to eight weeks, once salvaging of decorative bricks and stones have taken place. The debris in the foreground is what remains of the former of the regional college. This is part of the renovations and new construction taking place at the Comp, including the new Triple C Centre, new entrance, and a number of new rooms, including new band and choral room, and a commerial kitchen, due to be completed by the end of January.
