Collecting data from their marshmallow launcher

Review photo 4144 — Sabrina Kraft

Shane McKenzie, Devin Keen and Karter Ashworth collect data from their marshmallow launcher, as they experiment with angles to reach a desired distance. Physics students at the Weyburn Comp created marshmallow launchers on Thursday, with the goal to launch a marshmallow a range of three to six metres. At the end of experimentation, students had to use a combination of experimental data with a class-developed model to hit a designated target.
