Let’s all get together for Day of Pink march

Review photo 4380 — Greg Nikkel

A group of Mini-Go students at the Family Place gather with George Barker of the Canadian Red Cross, as they prepare for the “Day of Pink” city-wide march against bullying to be held on Wednesday, Apr. 9. From left to right are Quinton Stinson, Baillie Carlson, Fox Paul-Samson, George Barker of the Red Cross, Ella DeRoose, Adriel Rus, McKenzie Brydon, Cohen Frisk and Wylynn Treble-Wiberg. The Red Cross urges everyone to put on their pink shirts and be friendly with each other, like these tykes are doing, to take part in the march through the city’s downtown area. Marchers from all Weyburn schools, along with parents and staff and anyone from the public who wishes, are to gather on Third Street near the Court House at 10:30 a.m., and then to march south on Third Street at 11 a.m. through the downtown, and north again on Second Street back to the starting point.
