Learning 'Day of Pink' cheers for the big march

Review photo 4392 — Greg Nikkel

Students from Grades 4 and 5 follow the lead of teacher Colleen Weimer, right, as they learn some cheers and a flash-mob dance that they will perform today, Apr. 9, at the "Day of Pink" march in downtown Weyburn. All of the elementary school-aged students in the city are learning the same cheers and flash-mob dance, as students from all schools will gather at the McKenna Hall parking lot at 10:30 before setting off at 11 for the march down Third Street through downtown, and north up Second Street back to the starting point. The annual "Day of Pink" march is part of the Red Cross's national anti-bullying campaign.
