Members of the City of Weyburn’s Parks board and staff gather on the new train play structure, set up near the new gazebo in time for the International Trails Day celebration on June 1 near the Soo Line Museum. Up on the train engine are Coun. Nancy Styles, Ray Hamm and Parks and Works superintendent Claude Morin; in front are Coun. Winston Bailey, city staff Kristine Paul, Katelyn Struthers of the Parks department, and board member Laurie Schmidt. A free hot dog barbecue was hosted by the Weyburn Rotary Club to help with the Trails Day celebration and dedication of the new gazebo.
