Padre John Ferrier of the Royal Canadian Legion, at right, leads a brief service at the special cairn at Hillcrest Cemetery, to mark Decoration Day on Sunday. The graves of those who were lost in war were marked with small Canadian flags, and the service was held to pay tribute to their sacrifice to preserve freedom in Canada. The parade included the Colour Party from the Legion, veterans, cadets and an RCMP officer; a lunch was served afterwards at the Legion Hall.
