‘Land of the Living Skies’ after a summer storm

Review photo 5523 — Greg Nikkel

A summer storm rolls away from Weyburn on Thursday evening, with the setting sun visible just behind the dark clouds. The storms moved quickly through the province, bringing hail to some regions — plus sheets of rain and high winds to many others. Weyburn received 32.3 mm of precipitation on Thursday night, which was the most received to date in July. This was not the highest amount of rainfall for the province however, as Estevan received 36 mm.
