Elizabeth Gill, Natalie Morissette, Mya Pilloud and Laylia Crone set up an lemonade stand to help raise funds for ALS, in support of Celina Crone, who runs a personal daycare from her home, who was nominated for the ALS ice bucket challenge. The children raised $31 at their lemonade stand, and Celina is matching that amount, to donate $62 to ALS. According to the ALS Association, they have received $88.5 million in donations as of August 26, from existing donors and 1.9 million new donors. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.
