Grade 8 students Josh Zackrisson, Bailey Brenholen and Orrin Tessier carefully collect the soil sample in a bag, dug up with a small auger as part of a science class outing from St. Michael School to River Park on Thursday. The students used class lessons on science and the environment as they took part in a fictional scenario of a pipeline leak, and took water and soil samples in an attempt to pinpoint where the leak might be located.
