Felipe Novachinski, a Rotary exchange student from Brazil, explains the variety of dishes he helped prepare from his home country, for a special fundraising supper held Thursday evening at Calvary Baptist Church. He also gave an informational presentation about Brazil; the proceeds of the supper, with over $900 raised, will go in part to support Polio-Plus, a program by Rotary International to eradicate polio around the world, as well as to go towards a trip with other Rotary exchange students.
