Calendars still on sale in Pangman

Eight residents of Sunnyview Place participated in their weekly bean bag 10-frame tournament on Jan. 9. Effie Devine won first with 56 points, Gerry Taylor and Ada Murray tied for second with 52 points and Vi Kessler took third with 50 points.

Merlen Broughton from Pense visited with Tom and Debbie Kessler on Jan. 2.

Ryan and Heidi Fowler's son Rhye, born Jan. 5, was the winner of the Weyburn Review's "Little Ones of 2013". Ryan was the former Pangman School principal and now is principal at the Weyburn Junior High.

Irene Leedy, a resident of Sunnyview Place, was the December walker.
Rev. Ella Frank from Ogema came to Sunnyview Place on Jan. 8 to do a church service and sing with the residents.

Don and Ginny Allewell returned home at the end of December after spending their Christmas in Palm Springs to pack up and move to Edmonton, Alta., to be close to their daughter Tricia and Terry Nieberding and Gregory, Nicole and Jill. They spent 20 years in Pangman after retiring from being Regina Pool livestock manager.

A baby girl Brooklyn Sherice was born to Jason and Jennifer Sample of Saskatoon on Aug. 28. Grandparents are Isobel and Barry Sample of Pangman and Kirby and Sher Senst of Lipton.

Barry and Isobel Sample of Pangman and their daughter Marica and Jeff Sedor and Marlee and Jaxon from Yorkton motored to Saskatoon on Dec. 22 to attend the baptism for Brooklynn Sample.

The snow sleigh rides that were scheduled on Dec. 31 at Albert and Shirley Hanson's farm in Hardy was cancelled due to cold weather.
