Classical performer to play TC Douglas Centre

Weyburn native Meagan Milatz, practices on the Steinway piano at the Tommy Douglas Centre, in preparation for a concert here on Sunday, June 1 with the Crimson Quartet. Meagan recently won first prize at the prestigious Shean Piano Competition in Edmonton, where she won an $8,000 prize, plus a $1,000 prize for the best performance of the test piece. She just finished her third year of music studies at McGill University; she is the daughter of Paul and Brenda Milatz of the Griffin area.
