Comp Student Representative Council members Mackenzie Oberg and Justin Claude hold up newly sold "punching bags", which were sold at the Weyburn Comp School to help raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. All the classes are competing to sell "punching bags" for $1 each, as their contribution to a special "Friends of Relay" event on Saturday, May 24, which will replace Relay for Life events that were held in the community in the past. "Friends of Relay" will be held on the track and around the soccer field, with opening ceremonies at noon, with the Survivor Lap to follow. It will still be a 12-hour event, with a luminary ceremony at 10 p.m., and the closing ceremonies at 11:45 p.m.
