The Ogema Heritage Hall is hosting a grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 15. The event will include supper, entertainment, music, and a ribbon cutting.

Construction of the Ogema heritage Hall began in April of 2013 and was completed June 2014. The new community Heritage Hall is attached to the Rink Complex, so that the skating rink, curling rink and community hall are now under one roof. The new Heritage Hall boats a 730-square-foot commercial kitchen that is accessible by both rinks and the hall.

Inside the kitchen is a 730-square-foot walk-in cooler. The curling rink waiting room is also brand new, constructed at 1,530-square-feet.

The new hall is a 4,600-square-foot facility with a 1,020-square-foot stage. The facility also has a 500-square-foot main entrance.

All aspects of the Ogema Heritage Hall will be featured during its grand opening. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with cocktails, supper follows at 6 p.m., and a ribbon cutting and entertainment will be included.

Tickets to the grand opening event are $15 per person, and they are available at the Ogema Town Office, the Radius Credit Union or Ogema Agencies.
