Fire fighter Marc Schweitzer watches as fellow fire fighter Harold Whiteoak is presented with the certificate and medal for the Queen's Jubilee Medal by MP Ed Komarnicki on Wednesday evening at the Weyburn Fire Hall. Whiteoak was recognized for his service to the community, including 23 years as a fire fighter, and 26 years of involvement with the Weyburn Army Cadets Corps, where he holds the rank of captain, acting as the administrative officer, and also 12 years with the Knights of Columbus, as well as involvement with the MS Society. Schweitzer pinned the medal to Whiteoak on behalf of the Weyburn Fire Department.
