First-place fiddler shows her style

Madison Zandee of Estevan shows her talent and style as she plays her three songs as part of the novice category at the Old-time Fiddle Contest held in Weyburn on Saturday, and she won first place as a result. Madison is the granddaughter of former Weyburn teacher and principal Tom Zandee, and attends Grade 7. She also placed first in the twin fiddling category with Kieran Stewart, and was part of a group of five fiddlers who won the novelty category.
