Garry Offet was a Weyburn goer on April 19, calling on Clare and Ida Offet for an afternoon visit and was a supper guest of Linda and Allan Tosczak.
Larry and Eleanor Skjerdal were dinner guests with their son, Byron and Donna Skjerdal in Weyburn on April 19. Joining them were Marilyn and Arlin McCutcheon, Gina and Garret and Andrea of Estevan, Delores and Duane Larsen and Dorothy Voth of Weyburn, and Evelyn Deal of Ratcliffe. An enjoyable afternoon was spent visiting.

Good Friday dinner guests with Clare and Ida Offet in Weyburn were Craig and Charmaine Offet and Courtney, Darcie and Janessa Bell of Regina, Suzanne Brown of Rocanville, and Deena Offet, Callie, Jensen, Cael and Tahlaya and Todd Voth of Moosomin. Later in the afternoon the Moosomin visitors travelled to Regina where they took in the Harlem Globetrotters performance.

The Offets from Regina called on Byron and Donna Skjerdal, the Bell girls called on their dad, Mark and Anita Bell and Suzanne spent the night and returned to Rocanville on Saturday afternoon after enjoying a short visit and coffee with Annette Lohse.

Easter Sunday dinner guests with Myrna Lohse were family Melissa Lohse and Brandon and Paula Lohse, as well as her parents Duane and Delores Larsen, Kevin and Annette Lohse of Weyburn, Jazmin Lohse and Kris McLean, and Mikayla Lohse of Regina and Greg Johnson.

Dinner guests on Apr. 19 with Garnet and Elaine Roysum were James Fonstad, Olivia and Kaybree of Oxbow and Cory and Cherie Roysum and family.

Word was received of the passing of Peggy Bonk on April 18. She along with her husband Norm helped start Wolf Creek Circle Square and her husband was pastor of Beaubier Pentecostal Church for a time.

On April 20, Garry Johnson, late of Estevan and formerly of Lake Alma, passed away at the Estevan Regional Nursing Home at the age of 68 years.

Garry will be remembered by his wife, Elaine; children, Marianne Johnson (Loran Heinz) of Hitchcock, Sask., Jacqueline Johnson (Charles Peckover) of Lampman, and Lori-Lynn Johnson (Kent Feuring) of Lampman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Funeral service was held at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Estevan on April 25, with Pastor Stewart Miller officiating. Interment took place at Saron Lutheran Cemetery at Lake Alma.
