Auctioneer Winston Bailey and emcee Glenn Rogers look over a candy-filled Christmas tree prior to Winston putting it up for bids, during the annual Festival of Trees gala auction on Thursday evening at the Barber Motors showroom. There were 23 trees which were sold by live auction, and 68 silent auction items, and the event brought in a total of $72,000 for the Family Place, which enables the family resource centre to continue operating and offering its services to families in the community.
