Minor hockey players of all ages enjoyed some outdoor street hockey along with members of the Weyburn Red Wings on Saturday, including Ty Brown, No. 10 at left, and Erik Olson at right, as a part of “Hockey Day” in Weyburn. Two street hockey rinks were set up with hay bales in front of the Tom Zandee Sports Arena along with a bonfire and hot chocolate, and both hockey arenas were busy with hockey games all day Saturday and Sunday to celebrate Canada’s game.
