Back to School

The Weyburn Salvation Army will be offering their “Back to School” program for families that need assistance purchasing school supplies.  Families will have until Monday, August 21 to apply for assistance.
This year the program is a bit different, The Salvation Army will be filling the back packs with the school supplies, instead of handing out gift cards. Donations of: crayola markers, glue sticks, hi-lighters, binder dividers, Hilroy notebooks and duo tangs are greatly appreciated as well as Walmart gift cards (so that the Salvation Army can go purchase the supplies ourselves) or a monetary donation.
The Salvation Army have enough pencils and pens, and loose-leaf.  In previous years The Salvation Army has helped over 40 local students (a year) and they are ready to do the same this year.
To apply for assistance or to make a donation please contact the Weyburn Salvation Army office at 306-842-2280 or stop by 126 Fourth Street NE.
