Kelvin Gray of Richardson Pioneer dropped the puck for the opening faceoff at the Gold Wings season opener on Saturday evening at Crescent Point Place versus the Swift Current Wildcats. Taking the faceoff were Jordan Holinaty, right, of the Gold Wings, and Taylor Kirwan of Swift Current. Richardson Pioneer came on board this year as the new team sponsor, and has committed to the next three years for the midget AAA girls hockey team.
