Bolts of lightning flashed across the sky as the headlights of passing vehicles left a light trail in this time exposure along Highway 39 looking southeast from Weyburn on July 10, as an active thunderstorm moved quickly through the area. The storm dumped about 21.4 mm of rain on the city, with varying amounts reported in the area along with hail and wind damages. Environment Canada said there were reports of four tornadoes around the province from the series of storms.
