Taking in the history of the Souris during Jane’s Walk

Lindsay Manko-Bauche, standing on the bench at right, organizer of Weyburn’s first-ever Jane’s Walk event, explains some of the history and facts behind the Souris River, to a group taking part in the inaugural walk at a stop in the Tatagwa Parkway. The first walk was held on Saturday morning along the Souris River area, and the second walk, held on Sunday afternoon, took in the neighbourhood around the Haig School area. As the walk guide, Manko-Bauche explained the points of interest and the local history along the way during each of the walks.
