Members of the Weyburn Fire Department, Weyburn Police Service and EMS gathered at McKenna Hall for the first-ever black-tie gala event on Saturday evening, with a formal catered meal and dancing to a live band. The evening also included a "Fallen Officer Memorial Ceremony" prior to the meal, as those gathered paid tribute to men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The proceeds from the evening will go to the Weyburn Youth Centre and the Victim Services Unit.
