Weyburn Fire Chief Simon Almond and one of his platoon leaders, George Kerr, salute along with an Army cadet as they lay a wreath at the cenotaph during the Remembrance Day ceremonies on Friday morning at Memorial Park. After all of the wreaths were laid, the ceremonies moved indoors to the upper Legion Hall, where the service was held, with former Dominion Command president Peter Piper of Stoughton as the featured speaker.
