Weyburn police were notified by a local business owner regarding an internal theft problem at about 10:20 a.m. on Thursday. As the result of the investigation, a 57-year-old male has been charged with theft under $5,000.
Weyburn police received a call about a disturbance on the street in the area of Bison Avenue and Sixth Street between two or more people at about 11:56 p.m. on Friday. Before police were able to respond, a vehicle came and removed at least one of the people.

City police received a complaint of mischief having been done to a vehicle parked at a restaurant at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matter is still under investigation.
While conducting a traffic enforcement check, a 28-year-old driver of a vehicle was being stopped for speeding at about 3 p.m. on Thursday. The driver, rather than stop, fled from the police and then ran into a private residence with the police in pursuit. The driver was charged with speeding and with failing to stop for the police.
A complaint was received about a male acting oddly at about 5:35 p.m. on Wednesday. The 32-year-old male was located and subsequently arrested for being intoxicated in public and was held in cells until sober.
City police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of 4th Street at about 11:05 p.m. on Wednesday. As a result of this call, a 40-year-old male was taken into custody without incident and is facing a charge of breaching a probation order.
Weyburn police received a request on Thursday afternoon from a local health care facility to locate and return a patient who had left without permission. The person was located and returned without incident.
City police responded to a domestic disturbance between a 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman at about 11:30 p.m. on Friday. Police assisted the man to leave the residence with his infant child.
Weyburn police received a call at about 5 a.m. on Sunday, regarding a 22-year-old male person who was contacting the complainant when under an order not to do so. The matter is still under investigation and charges are pending.
City police received a report of a domestic assault to an 11-year-old child at about 3 p.m. on Sunday. The matter is still under investigation and the police are working in conjunction with the Ministry of Social Services.
Weyburn police received a complaint regarding a 19-year-old male who was threatening self-harm at about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. The person was located and was voluntarily taken to the Weyburn General Hospital for assessment.
