Grade 10 Wellness students notch their arrows and take aim for their first shots, as they practice the techniques used in archery in gym class on Wednesday. From left are Anthony Borschowa, Nicholas Thompson and David Swenson; the compound bows were set at around 20 pounds of tension, with some bows adjusted to a lower tension so they could handle the bows easier. The targets were set up in a corner of the gymnasium, with safety protocols strictly observed.
