Elton Howard Waldal
It is with sorrow that the family announces the death of Elton Howard Waldal of Lanigan, which occurred on September 10, 1999 at the Lanigan hospital following a brief battle with cancer. He was 72 years of age. Elton was born on April 15, 1927 near Lake Alma, SK where he attended school. He spent his early years farming in the Lake Alma area. On August 9, 1952, Elton married Ione Grosenick. They lived briefly in Regina prior to moving to Colgate in 1953 where he was the school janitor and a bus driver.
