Margaret Medwed is sad to announce the passing of her sister-in-law Verna Theresa Dynna at the Weyburn Special Care Home on November 11, 2014. Verna was born to William and Alice Medwed on August 13, 1930. She was raised on the family farm east of Weyburn. She lived there until she met and married Selmer Dynna. They farmed their own place until they retired. They were married over 53 years when Selmer passed away. Verna lived on her own until this summer when her health became too bad to live on her own. Verna was predeceased by her Mom and Dad William and Alice Medwed, her husband Selmer Dynna, and her brother Jack Medwed. She is survived by her sister-in-law and caregiver, Margaret Medwed; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and good friend Norma Leslie. Verna was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. At Verna's request there will be no service. Flowers graciously declined. Donations in memory of Verna may be made to Weyburn Special Care Auxiliary.
