Pangman dancers compete at Avonlea for annual event

Ocean Larson and Christie Jesse placed third in lyrical solo, 16 years and over; Nikita Ruiz-Reyes placed second in the lyrical solo ages 14 to 15 group; Natalie Lillejord took fourth in the lyrical solo ages 12 to 13; and Jacey Rowland placed second and Riana Svedahl took third in the lyrical solos ages 10 to 11.

In the tap solo ages 12 to 13 group, Hayley Lillejord places second and in the jazz solos ages 14 to 15 group Hayley Lillejord took third. In the jazz solos ages eight to nine Shayndel Greggains took second. In the ballet duo and trio group, ages four to six, Callie Anderson, Hanna Hessler and Trinaty Greggains won first. In the tap duo and trio ages 16 and older, Hayley Lillejord and Christie Jesse placed first. In the tap duo and trio ages 12 to 13, Natalie Lillejord and Jayce Rowland took third. The ballet SM group, ages six to seven, placed second. The lyrical group of Riana Svedahl, Natalie Lillejord, Jayce Rowland and Shayndel Greggains placed first in the ages 10 to 11 category.

Ocean Larson, Nikita Ruiz-Reyes, Payton Nyhus, Christie Jesse and Hayley Lillejord placed third in the lyrical SM group, ages 14 to 16 category. The jazz group ages six to seven placed first, the jazz group ages 10 to 11 took second, and the jazz group SM ages 14 to 15 finished second.

The RM of Norton will hold their annual ratepayers meeting at the Pangman school on Tuesday, April 15 at 7 p.m. Members of Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) will discuss their activities. Tammy Meyers of the Moose Jaw River Watershed will discuss well testing and decommissioning of wells.

All ratepayers interested in the future vision for the municipality are invited to attend the meeting.

The annual Pangman Ladies Night Out will be held at the Pangman School on Wednesday, April 16. Guest speaker will be Ruth Barlett.

The proceeds will be donated to the Pangman Ambulance. Tickets will be available at the Post Office, or by contacting Valerie Heustis. There will be many door prizes.

Seven residents of the Deep South Personal Care Home participated in their 10 frames of bowling on March 11. Gerry Taylor took first with 131 points, Effie Devine took second with 124 points, and Ada Murray took third with 116 points.

Seven children of the Pangman Day Care and their supervisor walked to the Deep South Personal Care Home and did crafts with the residents.

Boyd and Debbie Kessler motored to Moose Jaw to attend the funeral service of Andrea Kissner on March 21.
