Shauna Leonard and Jesse Albanez, unit managers of the Veterans Wings at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, receive $12,000 from Don Sealy and Shelley Kauf, from the Weyburn Royal Canadian Legion Branch 47. This donation was from the Poppy Campaign, which is collected during Remembrance Day from the sale of poppies, and is used to provide direct assistance for veterans and their families. The Extended Care/Veterans Program at the Wascana Rehab Centre provides specialized supportive and long-term care services to 259 residents on seven units.
