Team ropers Kavis Drake and Conner Box chase a calf together, with one roper going for the head and the other for the heels, at the Kids Rodeo on Wednesday held at the Weyburn Ag Society's rodeo arena. The first rope missed the head, so the team was not able to qualify for prize money in this event. The next Kids Rodeo will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at the Weyburn rodeo arena, with the goal of local organizers to hold the rodeo once a month.
