The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce parade was moved to Wednesday, July 2 due to weather conditions on June 30.

"With this kind of weather, it's not going to be a good parade," said Jeff Richards,Chamber of Commerce manager. "It's raining too much and it's pretty cold, quite frankly. We want to make sure that particularly our young folks are enjoying the day."

He added that the forecast for Wednesday, July 2 looked more reassuring.

The Chamber of Commerce parade will take place start at 10:30 a.m., starting on Fifth Avenue North starting around 16th Street. A Chamber representative will be waiting at the beginning of the lineup to help direct floats as they arrive at the marshalling area. As the entries will be judged prior to the parade, the Chamber asks that floats be in place no later than 9:30.

From the marshalling point, the parade will go west to Fifth Street and south to First Avenue, over to Second Street to Prairie, then to Third Street to head through the downtown area. The parade will head north up Second to Bison, then up Government Road back to Fifth Avenue.
