Natalie Sidloski, in makeup and a kimono in the style of a geisha, serves up a Japanese meatball to Japanese exchange student Hiroko Narita, also dressed up, as part of a Rotary Japanese-themed fundraiser supper held Thursday evening at the Calvary Baptist Church. Student advisor Sara Irwin is being served next to Hiroki, who is in Weyburn for a year, along with Felipe Novachinski from Brazil, through the Rotary Club's student exchange program. Natalie's family is hosting Hiroki during his stay in Weyburn, while he attends high school at the Weyburn Comp along with Felipe. The supper was held to raise funds to enable Hiroki to take a trip with fellow Rotary exchange students later this spring through western Canada.
