The Weyburn Police Service, EMS and the Weyburn Fire Department attended to a two-vehicle accident on First Avenue NE on Friday when a car pulling onto the street in front of the hospital was hit by a westbound semi. The occupants of the car were taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries and kept for observation. The accident remains under investigation.
The Weyburn Police Service received a report of a vehicle, parked on Barber Crescent, being damaged by having a window smashed on May 26. There were no suspects and the incident remains under investigation.
Police received a report of a hit-and-run which had occurred in the east area of Weyburn on May 26. The incident remains under investigation.
The Weyburn Police Service received a report of a hit-and-run that had occurred on Government Road on May 27; the subsequent investigation located both the offending vehicle and driver. The male driver was charged under the Traffic Safety Act for following too close.
The Police received a complaint of a disturbance from a residence in the east area of Weyburn on May 28. Upon arrival police found a male and female having a loud disagreement. Police mediated the situation and no criminal charges were laid.
On May 29, police received a complaint of an attempted fraud where an individual had received a phone call stating they were from Revenue Canada and were part of Revenue Collections, and when requested to give their agent number they were evasive and eventually hung up. Everyone is again reminded to be aware of potential telephone frauds and to not give personal information of send money to someone you do not know.
Police received a complaint of a domestic assault on Saturday, when the 35-year-old female victim made her way to the police station. The subsequent investigation resulted in a 46-year-old male being arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm. He was later released from custody and will appear in court later this month.
On Sunday, members of the Weyburn Police Service conducted a vehicle stop and found a 23-year-old female driver was exhibiting signs of impairment by alcohol. The subsequent investigation resulted in the female driver being arrested and charged with over .08. She was released from custody and will appear in court later this month.

Meanwhile, the Milestone RCMP is asking for the public's help after a report of a stolen enclosed trailer from Avonlea, and a missing "Gator" vehicle that was apparently put into the trailer and taken off the property.
A black pickup truck, make and model unknown, may have been responsible for the theft; RCMP say a vehicle matching that description was observed early in the morning driving west on Highway 334.
The stolen trailer is a 2013 Canadian Nighthawk cargo trailer, approximately seven feet by 16 feet, and has a ramp door on the back of the trailer, with a walk-in door on the side.
The stolen Gator has camouflage markings on it.
