Weyburn Scouts visit home of Snowbirds

The scouts and leaders of the Fifth Weyburn Scouts visited Moose Jaw for a weekend scout camp, including a tour of CFB Moose Jaw where the Snowbirds precision flying team are based.

The scouts and leaders of the Fifth Weyburn Scouts visited Moose Jaw for a weekend scout camp, including a tour of CFB Moose Jaw where the Snowbirds precision flying team are based. In the back are leaders Mark Mlynarski and Dave Keen; the scouts standing at back are, from left, Charlene Keen, Emily Bedore, Jackson Shauf, Dominic Soles, Anne-Marie McGowan, Matthew Soles and Hailey Bedore. In front are Dylan Staple, Zane Domes, Kyle Hartman, Brandon Hartman, Stevn Mlynarski and Ariel Erhaze. While at the air base, the scouts were able to see the various training aircraft, ejection trainers and flight simulators in use at the base, as well as seeing the control tower and sitting in a Tutor jet. Other activities and sights in Moose Jaw included a visit to the Tunnels, and the Western Development Museum.
