Construction crews were busy as they worked on putting up a new seniors residence, a four-unit barrier-free residence, in behind Doris's Place at the corner of Elgin Street and First Avenue NW. There are ongoing construction projects in many locations around Weyburn in addition to this project, including at Riverwood on the former Souris Valley grounds, The Creeks on the city's east side, at Fifth Street and Fifth Avenue, and in Douglas Heights on the South Hill.
