The Triple C Committee will be bringing a former local singer back to do a fundraising concert this spring.

Brad Johner and the Johner Boys will be performing a concert on Friday, April 19 at the Comp School Cafetorium, with the show getting underway at 7:30 p.m.

The performance is part of the 2012-2013 Stars for Saskatchewan series through OSAC, and is being brought to Weyburn through the Weyburn Concert Series as a fundraiser towards the Triple CCentre, currently under construction at the Comp.

Johner, a native of Midale, has been a staple of Canadian country music for 20 years, including a solo career for the last dozen years with five CDs and a number of awards.

Now, his five sons have started their own brand of music, and are performing with their Dad as a backup band as well as doing their own songs.

OSAC, the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils, is an umbrella organization that enables community arts councils and groups to hold art exhibitions and musical performances.
