The Weyburn Car Club will host their 16th annual Show and Shine in downtown Weyburn on Saturday, June 17. Registration for the Show and Shine will be held in the Weyburn Royal Canadian Legion, downstairs in the Vimy Room, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Show and Shine itself will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will feature a number of antique vehicles, sports cars, muscle cars, entertainment, and door prizes throughout the day. There will be a number of various organizations that will set up as food vendors during the day.
There will be a special KidSport booth, where raffle tickets will be sold. The prizes include a smoker courtesy of Bandit Energy for first place, a tool set courtesy of Auto Electric as second place, and a pedal car courtesy of the Weyburn Car Club as third place.
“KidSport is the charity we are supporting this year and all funds raised stay in our community to help youth. Everybody should come out and see a fantastic selection of automobiles from the past and present,” said Grant Simpson, president of the Weyburn Car Club.
