The Horizon String Quartet performed a number of classical music selections for the students and staff of Assiniboia Park School on May 29. They explained the differences in the instruments they played, and told the stories behind some of the pieces they performed. The quartet also performed at Queen Elizabeth School earlier the same day. The quartet includes Amy Hillis and Jeremy Buzash on violin, Ryan Davis on viola, and Ariel Carrabré on cello. Amy will be returning to Weyburn this fall with Weyburn pianist Meagan Milatz for a performance with the Weyburn Concert Series.
