Voting in the 36th annual James Weir People’s Choice Exhibition will wrap up on Friday, Feb. 21, at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery, at the end of the day.
There are 22 entries from artists from the Weyburn region who have submitted works, and people can vote for their top three favourite pieces.
The votes will be calculated after voting closes, with a point system set up according to how people have voted (three points for first choice, two for second and one point for third choice), and then will be tabulated by members of the Weyburn Arts Council.
A public reception to announce the winners and runners-up will be held at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m., and trophies will be presented to the top three vote-getters.
