Jordyn Hutchings flies out of the starting gate with a push by friend Riley Zerie, as Logan Frison waits in the wings for his turn in front of Colten Glennie (standing), and at right, Courtney Meyers starts her own journey down the tobagganing hill at River Park. Watching in behind also are Jake Roettger, Sonya Smirnova and Brittany Kot. They were all part of an outing by the Grade 8 classes from St. Michael School on Dec. 21, the last day of school before the holidays; there will be much more sledding over the holidays before classes resume for everyone on Thursday, Jan. 3.
