A list of talented individuals and groups have applied to provide entertainment at this year’s Communithon fundraiser, and an audition concert will be held on Sunday, Sept. 15, starting at 2 p.m., at the T.C. Douglas Centre. (The photos here show some of the performers from last year's Communithon.)

The organizers would like to see some more performers apply also, and all of the prospective entertainers will perform at the audition concert.

The audition concert will be open to the public, and they will get a preview of what is to come for the Communithon.

There will be no charge to attend the concert, but donations to Communithon will be welcome.

To sign up for the concert, go on-line to the website at www.communithon.com and fill in the information requested. All ages and types of acts are encouraged to submit applications.

Communithon will be held in its former home, in the Weyburn Legion Hall on Friday, Oct. 25. The decision to return to its former location was made after public consultations were held, and many people expressed the wish for the fundraiser event to return to its roots.

It is Weyburn’s main fundraiser for the United Way’s community agencies. All funds raised during Communithon will stay in Weyburn, and will help fund the agencies, which provide programs and services to Weyburn and area residents.
