Becky (played by Jordann Dunkley) holds up her phone so the audience can hear Siri answer a question, in the opening scene for the play, "That's the GIF Of It", put on by the CMHA Youth Theatre program on Monday evening at the Tommy Douglas Centre. The other actresses in the play are, from left, Jelisa Dunkley, Laksmi Palomares, Gracyn Knipfel, Ivy Ling and Camryn Greve. These girls co-wrote the story of the play, and each actress wrote her own monologue in the play which examined the impact that social media has on teenaged girls in a local high school. The play opened Monday, and will run Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. as a part of the week's events for the CMHA's Mental Health Week.
