The Weyburn Comprehensive School hosted a coffee-and-muffin morning on Thursday to mark Education Week. They invited parents and community members to stop by for a muffin or a cookie, and to listen to the Rise Choir and the junior jazz band play on the stage at the Cugnet Centre. The groups performed the numbers they will perform on Friday morning at the Communithon, which is being held this year at the Legion Hall, starting at 8 a.m. and going through to 11 p.m., raising funds for 11 community agencies.
