Ryan Skjerdal of Vortex Plumbing and Heating held up the trophy awarded him as the “Business of the Year” as his wife and staff watched, at the WEYBEX Awards on Friday evening at McKenna Hall. Vortex was also named the New or Expanded Business of the Year at the Chamber of Commerce business awards, and is eligible to move on to the ABEX Awards, which are the provincial business awards.
