The Assiniboia Park Elementary School had their Remembrance Day assembly on Nov.7.
The grade six students were the MC's for the ceremony. Throughout the course of the ceremony, they presented and defined words that they felt described what Remembrance Day means.
The Grade one W class sang "Peace Like a River" for the students, staff and guests.
The entire school joined together to sing "Waving Flag".
The grade two students all dressed in reds and pinks to present a poem called "Poppy Poppy".
Once again the school joined together to sing "Shine a Light for Peace".
Weyburn Legion Chaplain, Marjorie McLeod, was the guest speaker at the assembly.
