Members of Weyburn’s Airbourne Cheer Athletics Bluebirds hold their final position as they perform in the All Star Cheer division at the Saskatchewan Provincial Cheer and Dance Championships on Saturday at the Comp Eagle gym. The girls came away as the best in their category, winning first place in the All Star Youth Prep Level 1, and were the Grand Champions of the All Star Prep Division, where they competed against nine teams in three categories. In addition to this young team, the Comp senior and junior girls teams both won awards, and cheerleading coach Kyla Moffat, one of the prime organizers of the provincial competition, was named as Coach of the Year for the Saskatchewan Cheerleading Association.
