Riders had to break a balloon with their horse, in the balloon race during the DQ Kids Rodeo on Saturday morning at the Weyburn rodeo arena. Contestants went up five at a time with the goal to tromp on a balloon and break it. Other events included barrel racing and goat untying in the fun children's rodeo prior to the Souris River Rodeo's second go-round held in the afternoon at the Weyburn Fair.
